Michael John Dubue is on some other shit. This is a pop rock album that sneaks through the doggie door. This is a pop rock album run through a food processor. “Runaway Heart” is like Tom Petty at neon bowling, “Venus At Your Back Door” will put blood in your nose, “Emergency” is Fleetwood Mac scoring Twin Peaks. Writing this is as fun as this album is. Don’t sleep.
